20/04/’21 – The opening of the new Eataly international center in London is scheduled for 29 April, with the official launch scheduled for 20 May.
After a hypothesis of opening at the Selfridges department store in Oxford St., the Italian food center has signed the lease contract for the 1st floor of the Bishopsgate to the number 135, right opposite Spitafield Market and next to Liverpool Street Station, in the heart of the City.
The space of 4.000 mq will be the largest Italian food emporium in the UK and promises a celebration of the best Italian food, with a butcher, a fish shop, a counter of cured meats, a bakery and a “cheese workshop” all inside. In total, more than 5.000 Italian food and beverage products and the opening will include the largest Italian winery in London, with more than 2.000 bottles available. The format also includes a bar.
In addition to the area “market” and to the commercial areas with the takeaway points of sale, there will also be an outdoor space, the Terrace of Eataly, three restaurants, three bars, six smaller refreshment points and a cooking school. Reservations for the terrace, which will serve food and cocktails from Aperol Spritzeria, can already be done.
