30/03/’21 – Corporate development, but also the professional one, they require method as well as skills, skills and resources. An internationalization program as well as a brand development project are now structurally part of an evolution that follows the dynamics of development and the movement of markets, but often some companies move in pursuit of a goal or attempting the path of development with empirical commercial initiatives.
The planning and use of reference schemes and models is always preferable, as the commercial moment depends on many variables that are not always controllable or predictable, therefore each stage of development should be managed with a method and not with improvisation.
One technique that comes in handy in this type of approach is the “MENTORING“, a way to support company management without replacing this, rather, assisting him in an interactive way, leveraging the ability to understand the method and then letting it be the manager himself, internal to the company and therefore operationally and culturally part of the company system, to use. But also a technique that allows you to inspire company management and professionals who dedicate their work to the development of a project, focusing on a leading role and not just an operational one, able to illuminate knowledge through feedback from field experiences, diverse, novel, prestigious.
This is an aspect that should not be underestimated, precisely because openness and the “vision” they can be cultivated thanks to the comparison with the outside world and certainly not only with the analysis of data and numbers. Right there “corporate vision” it is nowadays added value in a social and market context that is clamoring for renewal and freshness of solutions.
But MENTORING also applies on a personal level, as a guidance and support technique for individual professionals, who must be able not only to express competence, but also to correctly apply work patterns within a company project.
MITO Luxury has long started a synergy with REGENT'S UNIVERSITY LONDON and currently a MENTORING session is being managed in favor of a Master program – MA in International Fashion Marketing – aimed at providing guidance and support in understanding the roles even before the contents. A useful gym for the Mentee, but also to the Mentor who gradually increases his experience to be continuously transferred to other occasions, whether they are business or professional.
In more concrete terms, a Mentoring action completes a consultancy and planning intervention in an interesting and fruitful way, bringing as a novelty the support over time to the managerial figure and not just the definition of actions and instructions to be performed.
