This year has been characterized by several events that will certainly be remembered as “stages” relevant in history and in addition to the much-told Covid-19, there was the moment of Brexit that definitively marks the exit of England from the European Union.
An event that, beyond the ideas that have been diffused and chased in the press and in the opinion of many, someone "pro" and someone "against", it marked a moment of reflection on the economic and financial relations between EU and UK companies and markets.
MITO Luxury has been present for many years in London with projects and assistance activities for client companies introduced there and as part of the work we continue to carry out, we wanted to further consolidate this presence, because London is that “city-state” which has always represented a strategic hub towards highly international buying process and markets, a sort of market within the market that has been able to conquer a highly privileged position on a world scale over the years, by virtue of economic and financial policies that have allowed a constant flow of investments, as a result of capital and innovative initiatives that still make school.
The most aimed sectors and also best represented by our made-in-Italy continue to find a prominent place in London, to then be successfully brought to the most flourishing international markets, but also to return to Italy with greater strength, valued within commercial channels such as large department stores or prestigious retail, but also in the most qualified supplies for major automotive brands as well as aerospace.
This scenario led us to consider a new phase of our work, aiming to offer customers even more useful support to be able to design and develop a corporate presence in London, not only for commercial activity, but also for the definition of a strategy that can foresee – for example – the creation of an agile service company for the same Italian or foreign company, detached from production and dedicated to managing commercial relations, events, communication, temporary or concept stores, international partnerships.
A strategy that we can now design with the collaboration of LEXeFISCAL , our partner with whom we take care of the administrative and organizational aspects of a London company, tax planning at the international level, with which to make the most of the advantages offered by legislation that is already very incentive and encouraging today and which with the post Brexit phase will present a range of further benefits to make that market even more competitive, as it's dedicated to long-term projects where the presence of foreign investments and capital is a key asset.
In the coming weeks we will therefore work together on the analysis of situations and contexts relating to the evolution of the post-Brexit scenario, highlighting the aspects of greatest interest to businesses (Italian and non), always connecting news and updates relating to projects and commercial opportunities that are part of MITO Luxury work programme.
